“Nuh uh, nope, no way, no sciency stuff. You know it gives me a headache… my mind is still blown from when you told me how a candle works!” Rosaline chuckled and shook her head at the memory. A completely loved up expression filled the young actress’ features at the mention of Tru and she didn’t even try to hide it. “She does trust me, but she’ll also be along a bit later. She said she had a high profile client to sort out first, which I think might be code for she’s going to have a nap. I think she’s still exhausted from my birthday evening where she let me decide how we spent it and what we did.” A huge, mischievous smirk curled onto Rosaline’s lips and it was accompanied by a knowing wiggle of her eyebrows and a playful nudge.
Lottie laughed and shook her head, “Honestly if you think that’s cool there’s a million fabulous tricks that I could show you, all of which have their explanation in science!” Chuckling at the look that crossed Rosaline’s face at the mention of her domme she pretended to cover her ears and started singing to cover up listening. “There’s no need to rub it in. Just cause you’ve got a gorgeous domme at home the whole time doesn’t mean the rest of us want to know about it,” she quipped with a teasing smile and ignoring the gnaw inside her that it would be nice to have someone there.
Rosaline grinned with a chuckle and she thanked Lottie for the gift before diving into the gift bag to see what was in it. “Ohhh is this for us to have when we inevitably get thrown out?” She asked, her smirk growing ever wider. “I didn’t know it was a requirement until it was pinned on me but I’m definitely not complaining.” She draped an arm around her friend’s shoulders and turned her slightly, gesturing towards a large gaggle of people which consisted mainly of her family. “You’ll have to present your ohh soo sophisticated excuse to them and they’ll decide if you get a pass for the night.”
“Hmm, well I suppose I could talk chemical nerdy theories to you, it doesn’t specify what type of nerdiness,” Lottie laughed. She looked around at the crowd who were clearly all with Rosaline, “No Tru? She must really trust you if she’s letting you out alone with so many shots around?”
Rosaline was easy to spot since one of her cousins had attached the string of a bright pink helium balloon to her wrist which said ‘Birthday Grrrl’ and a flashing badge which flashed ‘Talk nerdy to me’ in alternating colours of the rainbow to the front of her dress. “Hiiii!” She exclaimed excitedly as she extracted herself from a hug and wrapped her arms around the newest person. “Thank you so much for coming!”
“I said I would come so ta-da, here I am,” Lottie laughed as she handed over a Star Wars gift bag containing a bottle of tequila. “Is talking nerdy to you all night a requirement because you know I’m way too sophisticated for that!”
Rosaline: Woo! Be good to see you =)
Rosaline: First round of shots is on me, lets see how you feel after that!
Lottie: Of course it will. Here’s hoping this one is a bit less exciting than the last party too.
Lottie: I think it will take a few rounds before I feel anything else.
Rosaline: Hey!! Come and help me celebrate being a year older! Saturday, 8pm til late.
Rosaline: I’m banned from the karaoke machine at Lo Scoglio due to too many high scores so we’re hitting Il Pesante instead.
Rosaline: Hope to see you there =) ❤
Lottie: Of course I'll be there.
Lottie: But I am not getting on the karaoke machine – not when you are around!
