“There were definitely times I wanted to, but I’m not one for confrontation.” Nadia nodded, that was exactly how she had decided to live her life after college. “Sometimes the wind blows you to the most amazing places, I must say.”

“That’s what I’m holding out for, an incredible gust that will blow me somewhere amazing but I guess only time will tell.  First I need to get through this year and this extra work,” she explained again, waving the letter slightly and bringing them back to the original point.  “I should go and make contact with this professor anyway, see what joy he has in store.  It was nice to meet you though.”

Nadia shook her head frantically, holding her hands up in defense. “I apologize for everyone else in my major. Please do not associate them with me. Their diva like qualities ruin my entire life regularly.” She laughed softly. “What do you want to do after graduation?”

Lottie laughed at the reaction, “I don’t know how you could stand it.  I think I’d have wanted to just clock some of them on a regular basis!”  She scrunched her nose at the question, “I’m not entirely sure.  I’ll see where the wind blows.”  Lottie knew exactly what she was going to do but a career as a counterfeiter wasn’t really one she would be vocal about.

“I have never heard of something so utterly ridiculous. I get they have an attendance policy, but shit.” Nadia shook the other’s hand. “Nice to meet you as well, Lottie. I’ve been here about ten years. I went to the University as well.”

Lottie had resigned herself to having to do the work but it was definitely nice to know she wasn’t the only one who thought it was totally ridiculous.  “What did you study at university?”

“Are they seriously upset about you missing three days? What a bunch of cry babies.” Nadia rolled her eyes and then shook her head. “Sorry for just inserting myself into your business. That was rude of me.” She extended her hand to the other. “I’m Nadia Russo.”

Lottie nodded, rolling her eyes in agreement at the ludicrous situation.  “It’s fine.  I’m glad to know it’s not just me who thinks it’s stupid.”  She readched out her hand to shake the blonde’s, “I’m Charlotte Berdini but most people call me Lottie.  It’s nice to meet you.  Have you been in Verona long?”

Nadia was behind Lottie and she noticed the letter in her hand, not sure exactly what was on it, just that it was from the University. “Most of the people over there are idiots these days.” She quipped, remembering her time at the institution and this distaste was obvious. “I know a good lawyer if they’re trying to kick you out of school for some bullshit reason.”

Lottie’s eyes widened as the woman behind her began to talk and talk but she couldn’t argue with her sentiment.  “Thanks but I have a really good lawyer myself,” she replied, her thoughts wandering back to how Spencer had solved her last legal issue.  “Anyway they are not trying to kick me out, just make me submit some extra work due to missing three days last semester.”
