“And yet your attitude and tone imply otherwise,” Mia tsked.  The Domme gestured to the milling crowd around them, “all these people and yet, only you, not even the only person heading in this direction, have a problem with my placement.  And brought attitude instead of simple manners.”  She shook her head at the fake smile.  “Does that really work for you?  Fake smiles and insincerity?”  With a large smile adorning her face however, the Domme took a step closer to the window, turning back to it, studying the dress.  “Have a good day.  May you find what you’re looking for.”

Lottie rolled her eyes at the reprimand and was about to bite back when she was so unceremoniously dismissed from the conversation.  “But I…..” Lottie spluttered, suddenly very wrong footed by the abrupt end to the interaction.  She stood for a moment and just stared in surprise before stomping off and still confused.

Mia turned her head, rolling her eyes and scoffing lightly.  “All to deal with high pressure sales people for an item that while beautiful, I have zero need for at the moment.  No thank you.”  She turned to the girl, arms crossed over her chest.  “Besides that would leave me no reason nor opportunity to be the bane of your existence today; and then who would you blame for all the woes in your life?”  the Domme asked looking the girl over.  “If you ask politely, instead of trying to bully a Domme, I might consider moving aside.  Hell, I might even apologize for blocking the path.  Although probably not- in this case.”

“I haven’t blamed you for any of my problems.  Other than the one that I can’t get where I need to go right now.”  Folding her arms across her stomach she could see where this was going and huffed slightly before giving an obviously fake smile, “Excuse me Miss.”

Mia strolled through downtown Verona on her way to the library, stopping periodically to look at window displays for a few moments before moving on.  Her shift was still a couple of hours away, but she had her tablet and notebooks in her bag, no shortage of things she could write, should she need to pass some time.  One window display in particular caught her eye and the Domme stopped, looking, taking it all in.  Still, she made no movements to go into the shop and examine  further.

Lottie was getting her bearings again having arrived back in the city the night before.  Her mind was full of things she needed to get done before her classes started again but number 1 on her list was getting some food in.  Lifting her head she was just in time to avoid banging into the woman stopped in front of the window but with what seemed like a stream of people coming the other way she couldn’t get past.  “You could see it much better if you actually went into the store.  They will even let you examine the item close up,” she snapped.  “Then you wouldn’t be blocking the path.”
