“I suppose mixing drinks could be seen as a form of chemistry–a gastronomic version, at least. Perhaps your expertise in one area has given you an advantage in the other,” she said with a small chuckle, her eyes settling on the glass in her hands. “A very dangerous drink,” she replied, looking back up before taking another sip. The small warmth of the alcohol was already spreading throughout her.
“It’s not that dangerous – as long as you are aware. It’s when you get cocktails with no idea how strong they are….that’s when you either have a really good night, or a really bad night!” She chuckled though she scrunched her nose up at the thought too.
